Tranmere story
Jacob Christian Maddox is an English midfielder born in Bristol. He began in Bristol City’s academy before joining Chelsea at 14, where he won the FA Youth Cup and UEFA Youth League and represented England at youth level.
After a productive loan with Cheltenham Town, Maddox joined Tranmere Rovers on loan in August 2019. He later moved to Vitória de Guimarães and returned to English football with Burton Albion, Walsall, Forest Green Rovers and Yeovil Town.
